A new phospholipid assay was developed to allow direct injection of
a QC sample of mixed phospholipids and analysis by ELSD or MS detection
using volatile solvents. No sample preparation was necessay.
Comparison to a HILIC method
showed that the elution was controllable and that there was no interference from the solvent peak at the end of the HILIC gradient
